This is the second issue of our magazine Quarterly, a publication aimed at all serious students of magic who would like to keep pursuing new approaches, new ideas, and find new visions for performing and creating magic. This issue's collaborators decided to share with the readers essays that will make them think deeply about their magic approach as well as show them other sides of our art. There are no full routines explained, and the one looking to learn the “hot new trick” here will be disappointed. With Quarterly, we would like to encourage people to think about magic and find their own philosophy and voice.
